This math is a public charitable trust and it was founded to promote the message of 'Amritanandamayi'. The headquartered at this math is at Amritapuri, Kollam, and Kerala. There is another math namely MATA AMRITANANDAMAYI MISSION TRUST, an organization for various spiritual, educational, social and cultural activities.
